本課程旨在訓練、培養、提昇學生研讀「公共行政學」專業英文原作之能力，幫助學生瞭解公共行政與管
理領域之重要概念和範疇，從而提高學生對該專業領域英文之興趣及閱讀、理解能力，同時藉由教授基礎英
語學習及寫作方法，增強學生對公共行政學專業領域重要議題之英文分析、寫作及翻譯技能，使其掌握基本英
語聽、說、讀、寫之運用技巧，為準備研究所考試、畢業求職及未來出國深造奠定良好的專業英語基礎。
This course aims at training, fostering, and improving students' ability in reading, compre-
hending, and analyzing academic Public Administraion theories and concepts in English, facili-
tating the students' understanding of the critical norms and theoretical perspectives of Public
Administration and Management in English, so as to improve their capability of reading acade-
mic public administration English. Meanwhile, it helps the students enhance their knwoledge
of significant public administration issues in English through analysis, composition, and bi-ling-
ual translation as well as basic English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills training,
to prepare them for graduate examinations in related fields or career development or academic pursuit abroad.

本課程將檢視目前兩岸政府之國家治理形態，著重比較兩岸在公共政策之異同, 課程中將討論兩岸的農業,醫療,戶籍,教育,人口,國防,外交,經濟政策等之不同﹔同時，比較兩岸不同政治制度下，政治意識對政府公共治理所造成的影響，以幫助學生了解現實世界中的實際困難、關鍵問題及可行的解決方案。
