本課程以討論構圖、分析技法、臨摩畫作為原則,經由觀察寫生客觀地表達真實之物象,進而轉化成主觀之意象。寫生課程先由梅、蘭、竹、菊四君子入門,再擴大其他題材;技法則從雙鉤白描入手到沒骨寫意,並帶領同學參觀故宮博物院與美術館,實際分析中國美術作品真跡。上學期以探討、分析中國美術的藝術風格為主,下學期延伸專題討論,並著重於作品與作者的分析。鼓勵同學多參觀畫展從看畫,讀畫中吸取更多經驗以為創作之動力。
This course is based on the principles of discussion of composition, analysis techniques, and imitation of painting, through observation and sketching to objectively express real images, and then transform them into subjective images.  The sketching course starts with plum blossom, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum, and then expands to other themes; the technique starts with double hook line drawing to boneless freehand brushwork, and leads students to visit the Palace Museum and Art Museum to analyze authentic Chinese art works.  The last semester focused on discussing and analyzing the artistic style of Chinese art, and the second semester extended the thematic discussion, focusing on the analysis of works and authors.  Encourage students to visit more art exhibitions to gain more experience from watching and reading paintings as the driving force for creation.
本創作課程以實作為主,授課內容敍述如下:
1.選擇載體:漆畫載體多元,本課程以木板作為創作載體。
2.繃布:將糯米粉加熱煮糊後,與生漆拌成黏著劑,將麻布繃覆於載體之上,做為強化。
3.打底:以生漆和黃土粉或細瓦灰混合,在載體表面打底,以增加載體的堅實度和填補載體的縫隙(填目)。
4.打磨:載體乾硬後再用粗水砂紙磨平。
5.上底漆:至少塗三層,再刷中塗漆和上塗漆,等乾燥後磨光。
6.構圖:繪製草圖後,描繪於載體上。
7.髹飾技法:依畫面需要,選取漆藝髹飾技法妝點畫面。
8.細水砂紙研磨。
9.提裝:在表層塗上一層薄薄的提裝漆或生漆。
10.推光:以推光粉(鋁色粉、鹿角粉…)推光至滿意為止。
11.作品完成 。
